Silk Aquarium Plant

Could you house these fish in a 40 gallon aquarium!?
i have a 40 gallon aquarium with a filter, pebbles, silk plants, deco etc...
could i house
1 lionhead goldfish
1 black moor goldfish
6 rosy red minnows
2 african dwarf frogs
together in the aquarium?
You did your homework as it sounds like a great set-up.
You have all coldwater fish and the aquarium is large enough to hold 2 goldfish. It would be stocked to the maximum though, so make sure that this is the set-up that you want to go with.
The Lionhead and Black Moor are a great pair as well, since they both have a harder time finding food and they won't feel threatened by each other.
I think you should go for it, but don't forget to add your fish gradually (1-3 at a time). You don't need to mess up your cycle! Good luck!
P.S. The minnows should be fine with the type of goldfish that you are going with. In my experience, the common type of goldfish are more likely to eat smaller fish.
The minnows also love coldwater (50-70 F) and can live in ponds, like the goldfish.
Buy your goldfish young (still small) and the minnows full grown. Grab the male minnows as they grow to 3 inches and the goldfish will have a tougher time putting them into their mouths.
