Flow Control Lever

I have a GE wall a/c. Where does the air come from: outside or recirculating of indoor? does it di-humidify?
It's a new unit, installed by maintenance. No identifying model numbers are visible. Front does not pull off. Levers are adjustable for direction of air flow, and two control knobs: temp and mode.
Primarily, the unit will recirculate the inside air. Some air leaks out through the cracks in the door or around the unit, and so there are spaces for outside air to come in as well.
As the warm, moist air crosses the cooing fins, it releases its heat, and also the stored moisture, so, yes, it does de-humidify the air in the room.
The air leaving the unit should be around 20 degrees cooler than the air entering.
